How to Get to Hitra

By Air

The easiest way is to fly to Trondheim airport Vaernes then rent a car and drive out to the island, or you can take a bus into Trondheim and a boat to the island, the boat goes three times a day, six days a week, and twice on sundays
The flight is approximately two hours and the drive is 1.5 hours.

By Boat

You can also take an overnight ferry from Newcastle to Bergen and drive up to Hitra, this is a eight Hours drive in the summer. You can also take Hurtigruten - on Hurtigruten you will explore the beautiful landscape Norway has to offer.

How to get to Hattfjelldal

by Air

The easiest way is to fly to Trondheim airport Vaernes then rent a car and drive up to Hattfjelldal, or you can take a train to Trofors where we will arrange for you to be picked up.
Driving time is approximately 5 hours from the airport.

NordKapp (North Cape)

Honningsvåg - Gjesvær (36 km): 15 km along E69 towards Nordkapp. From the junction E69 / Fv156 it is 21 km to Gjesvær.
The road to Gjesvær resembles at certain places a moon landscape. Not much grows there. Just before you can see the Arctic Ocean, you may think that you are on the way to nowhere. Then the idyllic island scene of Gjesvær comes into sight from the top of the hill. The contrast is magnificent. You arrive at our place two minutes later. You will park max 100 meters from the boat.
